Job title: Senior Visual Designer
Senior Visual Designer leads the definition of all aspect of visual design style for Renewal suite of products. As a member of the UI/UX team, Sr. Visual Designer establishes the visual layer & style of the products by combining typography, iconography, color, space, imagery, and texture.
Working closely with several other roles and teams, Sr. Visual Designers transforms low fidelity wire frames, prototypes, or other testable media and quickly turns them into intuitive, modern, and engaging user interfaces and solid interactions for delivery across mobile and web-based products.
Leveraging a clear understanding of the overall product vision and objectives this position serves as the design gatekeeper. Tasks include maintaining the visual standards, providing governance for the visual artifacts, and ensuring total continuity for the UI layer.
Assist in the creation of UI elements used across all products.
Create detailed visual design specifications and standards for all aspects of product UI.
Transform, low-fidelity wire frames into high fidelity by applying newly created or existing standards
Update, maintain, and follow the product visual style guide.
Creates and sets standards for graphic such as icons, logos, & diagrams.
Present design recommendations to key stakeholders.
Work quickly on deliverables in our Agile work environment.
Design intuitive, modern, and engaging user interfaces for the company’s many product lines.
Understand how designs will be executed at various resolutions and on different form factors.
Attend meetings and gather requirements.
Lead governance of established standards.
BA/BS degree in design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications).
Minimum 5 years of graphic, visual, and/or web design professional experience.
Experience in designing enterprise software or any other productivity tool for expert user interfaces.
Strong visual design Skills.
Experience using Figma or equivalent, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Exceptional time management, analytical, multi-tasking and communication skills required.
Ability to work within a high demand, fast-paced team.
Agile software development methodology experience.
Experience working with Design System.
Experience working with Microsoft Fluent Design System.
Strong online portfolio.
