Job Summary and Responsibilities:
+ Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be responsible primarily for the day-to-day operations of the sales accounting area:\t
+ Perform accounts receivable tasks like invoicing, collecting and applying customer payments\t
+ Maintain accurate customer AR info in NetSuite\t
+ Manage and execute collection efforts on overdue balances to drive lower DSO\t
+ Investigate and resolve customer queries\t
+ Proactively push for process improvements with all stakeholders\t
+ Daily cash reconciliation to the bank and month-end close reconciliation in NetSuite\t
+ Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records as necessary\t
+ Assist with the month-end close processes, including cutoff review of customer credits\t
+ P&L analysis and account reconciliation as needed\t
+ Cross-train with Accounts Payable for support with vendor accounts\t
+ Provide support for Audit requests from Bank, external Audit team, and Licensors
Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Type A, self-motivated, creative out-of-the-box thinker that naturally pushes to constantly improve systems, processes and procedures to minimize non value-added activities\t
+ Results-oriented (i.e. get stuff done in a fast-paced, multi-location environment)\t
+ Incredible attention to detail\t
+ Analytical mindset\t
+ Willingness to roll-up-your-sleeves and be a hands-on contributor\t
+ Able to work independently as well as a member of our team\t
+ Superior organizational and prioritization skills\t
+ Exceptional oral and written communication skills\t
+ Tech-Savvy (strong ERP systems background; NetSuite power user)\t
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business\t
+ CPA and/or MBA is a plus\t
+ Must have advanced excel skills — e.g. pivot table, vlookup, indirect, index, etc.
