Job Description

Draper and Kramer is a family owned company with over 126 years of experience providing vertically integrated property and financial services throughout the United States. Specifically, our services include multi-family residential and commercial property management, acquisition, development, debt and equity commercial financing and residential mortgage banking services.

Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corporation is seeking a full time Processing Coordinator for our Downers Grove or River North Chicago Office. This position is responsible for the ordering, reviewing, and signing off of non-borrower related conditions in order to get the loan cleared to close. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating with the Title Company, prepping the fee sheet, and sending the loan to closing. The Processing Coordinator and Processor will work simultaneously on the file throughout the loan process in an effort to get the loan to closing in the most efficient manner.

+ Request/order appropriate documentation for review

+ Responsible for coordinating the closing with Title Company, prepping the fee sheet and sending the loan to closing

+ Work directly with Loan Processor throughout loan process to push loans to Underwriting/Closing • Ensure necessary closing items are received and cleared

+ Schedule and confirm closing date and time with Borrower and all parties

+ Complete closing checklist and send fee sheet to Loan Officer

+ Complete prep closing milestone and push file to Closing within 72 hours

+ Review and sign off on additional LRR’s that are pulled if loan does not close timely

+ Maintain a high level of customer service including extensive communication with the DKMC Loan Processor, Underwriter, Sales Coordinator and Loan Officer

+ 2+ years of Mortgage Industry experience

+ Experience with conventional, FHA, VA , USDA, IHDA

+ Strong understanding of Agency guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC)

+ Strong Analytical skills

+ Strong problem solving skills
