Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake, Illinois 60050, 815-477-8915 is hiring landscape laborers to perform the following duties: sod laying, planting plants and trees, mowing, trimming, watering, digging, spreading dirt, raking, pruning, mulching, and loading and unloading materials. Lifting required 50 lbs. No education required. No experience required. Temporary, full-time job opportunity. Ongoing on the job training provided. $15.36/hr. $23.04 O.T. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. M-F. No overtime expected. 6 positions available for temporary work 04/01/2020 to 11/30/2020. Work to be performed in McHenry county area jobsites. Transportation provided to and from area jobsites at employer’s expense from a central pick up location. H-2B application filed concerning these positions. Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker’s paycheck required by law. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its costs to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. For certified periods of employment lasting 120 days or more, the employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the work days in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
