Position Description:

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain Analytics is part of a Global Supply Chain Integration Center of Excellence, more specifically a team providing functional consulting and support services to European, North American and Asia-Pacific markets.

The Center of Excellence is formed of experts in Supply chain planning processes, APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling), Collaboration/Engagement platforms and BI (Business Intelligence) software platforms.

The Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain Analytics works in close collaboration with the SCIS technical analysts and solution architects, Data & Analytics as well as Martin Brower Supply Chain organizations.

The Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain Analytics analyses specific and complex business problems related to supply chain management. Identify, organize, and execute projects to meet Martin Brower’s global supply chain strategies and initiatives. Align functions to improve service levels, reduce costs, and improve supply chain metrics as it aligns to the company’s overall objects and performance expectations. Use data-driven analysis methods to identify root cause problem areas and implement the corrective actions. Analyzes supply chain systems and processes, recommending and supporting the implementation of new processes and technology.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

+ Solution governance

+ Responsible for demand management, prioritizing and sequencing KPIs and core reports deliveries in close collaboration with the Data & Analytics COE and the SCIS Technical and Solution Analysts

+ Participate in the analysis and design of system solutions and process reengineering, providing assistance and direction to development teams through developing business requirements and user testing.

+ Upholding of solution governance rules and processes to ensure an efficient collection, qualification and assessment of desired evolutions of tools and processes

+ Socialization of Supply Chain best-practices across MB Supply Chain teams.

+ Project management of Supply Chain Analytics delivery across KOMPASS, JDE, CRM, WMS (requirements in-take, analysis, specification and documentation)

+ Management of User acceptance testing (preparation, documentation, facilitation and sign-off process)

+ Reporting and administration

+ Reports issues, difficulties, delays, risks to direct management and to the SCIS governance board

+ Update time-tracking tools

+ Maintain the change control management system timely and accurately

+ Issue meetings minutes and formalize action plan

+ Process and Solution design

+ Act as primary Subject Matter Expert in supply chain planning and Data analysis.

+ Develop, maintain and continuously progress in knowledge of business functions.

+ Performs data analysis on KPIs and makes actionable recommendations to support the market in their KPIs review and elaboration of improvement plans.

+ Analyze impact of proposed solution across the business, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews.

+ Project and Change Management

+ Apply SCIS project management and methodology standards (e.g. project brief, charters, RACIs, RAID logs, etc)

+ Define project scope, objectives, stakeholders, roles & responsibilities in collaboration with MB senior management

+ Determine the resources required to complete the project, Ensure resource availability and allocation

+ Develop & validate a detailed project plan with key project stakeholders.

+ Monitor the progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

+ Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the project

+ Manage dependencies with other local and global initiatives

+ Define and deploy people change enablement initiatives, training and communication plans

+ Other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant business area

+ 5-7 years’ experience in a supply chain role with a multi-national company

+ Strong analytical experience using data for report creation, business insights and creating recommendations – including potential experience with data mining tools such as business objects, SQL, PowerBI, etc.

+ Working knowledge of business processes, system development and process improvements.

+ Proficient in gathering business requirements, process flows and use cases.

+ Strong project management experience including mapping as-is and to-be business processes.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

+ Potential for International travel up to 20%

+ This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
