The Junior Fabrication Technician will manufacture standard products in safe, efficient and quality minded manner. He/She will actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on performing work in a safe, efficient, quality minded manner. He / She will be responsible to comply with work instructions, processes and policies, which includes the proper handling of tools and equipment, maintaining good housekeeping practices in work area using the 5s + 1 principles.
Duties: ¿ Carry out preperation work which includes, but not limited to: Standard cutting, assembly
¿ Check material for conformance prior to fabricating
¿ Material movement and stock up orders as required
¿ Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner; following, change over, preventative maintenance, start up and shut down procedures.
