Clinicians (Saura/Re-Entry Programs)
These positions HAVE NO 2nd Language Requirement – and are currently a priority hire location. Clinicians within the Saura/Re-Entry program must have at least 1 year of experience.
The population serve is primarily justice involved youth in the Chicago-land area, as an alternative to detention program. Youth are deflected away from jail settings to this group home setting, which offers social activities, school in the community, and a range of clinical supports- such as intensive group therapy and frequent individual sessions.
The program works with highly vulnerable youth to successfully transition to communities, gain social emotional learning skills, and trauma resiliency during their time at programs.
Schedules – Clinician schedules are typically 1-9:30pm either Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat. As clinicians gain seniority, they typically switch to daytime schedules as well. We would want to prepare candidates for this schedule even if scheduling options become more flexible in the future. Initial training ¬¬for clinicians is typically day shift (8am-4:30pm) given the availability of seasoned and senior clinicians during those times, and lasts around 2 months.
