Description:

\n

\n

\nEdit, manage, and distribute Plan communications through a variety of channels including email communications, presentations and extranet content.

\n

\nLeads small cross-functional communication projects in support of Commercial Markets priorities. Provides guidance and support to business units in planning, developing and implementing integrated communication strategies around a portfolio of business imperatives, seeking to optimize awareness, understanding and/or adoption among key stakeholders including BCBS Plans, accounts, providers and consumers/members. Consults with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, concise messages appropriate for target audiences.

\n

\nAdhere to corporate communication style guides in all communication. Define and execute team-level editorial improvements and efficiencies. Educate staff and promote the use of style guidelines and processes.

\n

\nProvides event planning and logistics support for Commercial Market priorities including Sales Enablement and Inter-Plan Collaboration activities.

\n

\nProvides communications and editing support for governance materials on an on-going basis.

\n

\n Skills required:

\n

\nIdeally candidate will have experience in communication planning and execution in supporting more technical initiatives/projects/products/services

\n
\n

\n

Excellent writing, editing and organizational skills; strong knowledge of grammar and composition principles (including AP Style) to create effective writing for a diverse audience.

\n

\nThe ability to summarize complex information and develop clear and concise communications for various audiences.

\n

\nProficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

\n

\nAbility to work cooperatively and effectively with various levels, including senior management (as needed)

\n

\nProven track record of timely task management, execution, and meeting deliverables.

\n

\n
