    DESCRIPTION
    Position Summary:
    Manage multiple plant QC departments located in Northlake, St Charles and Kankakee, IL (Midcentral Region) along with Quality systems and processes. The primary responsibility is to ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company.
    Function/Job Responsibilities:
  2. Develop and implement standardization processes that support business goals and objectives utilizing six sigma tools, quality software tools, data collection and analysis through benchmarking.
  3. Present roll-outs across functional groups across the division.
  4. Develop, implement and review statistical analysis that identifies defects, exception to quality processes, test methods, service and trends.
  5. Create process improvement and prevention plans.
  6. Plan, direct or coordinate quality assurance programs, ISO documents and formulate quality control policies.
  7. Audit to ISO compliance and interact/coordinate with outside company quality auditors.
  8. Provide guidance, goals, train and assess performance for QC supervisors and technicians and provide feedback.
  9. Develop and train ways of improving the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality products.
  10. Ensure that production and manufacturing lines perform efficiently, coordinate employee efforts, and facilitate communications between various functional groups.
  11. Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS
    Position Requirements:
  12. BS/BA College degree and/or equivalent Industry related experience.
  13. 5+ years of experience in the Ink or equivalent industry
  14. Proficient in MS Office, basic knowledge in MS Office: Access and SAP
  15. Math, organizational and administrative skills used in work experience
  16. Strong project management, leadership and creativity capabilities, including excellent verbal and written skills
  17. Work experience with Quality Management Systems, Quality Control, Business Process Improvement, Project Coordination, Trainer and Supervision/Managerial.
  18. SIx Sigma Certification and Process Mapping
    Preferred Experience:
    Quality certifications a plus but not required: CSSB, CSSGB, CSSYB, CMQ, CQA, CQE, CQIA, CQI, CQPA, CQT
    Travel Requirement:
  19. 30% – areas covered – Northlake, St Charles and Kankakee, Illinois
