Description: Reports to the career preparation coordinator. Responsible for coordinating and implementing the career preparation period program for new students, in compliance with government and management directives.
Skills: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, education or related field and one year related experience required. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Duties: 1.Responsible for all new student arrival activities in the evening and on the weekend.
2.Ensure coordination between CPP and Residential staff to ensure the full schedule of Career Preparation activities.
3.Coordinate any and all off center trips with the Transportation and the Recreation departments to ensure all activities are planned and occur accordingly.
4.Work closely with student Ambassadors and Pre-arrival specialist to coordinate student retrieval from airports and bus stations.
5.Ensure the student activities schedule is met on a daily basis this includes coordination with the Finance Department to ensure full funding for all activities.
6.Will assist as needed in the students’ daily training program and prepare the nightly report for activities for any follow-up for the training day.
