Summary

In Store Merchandiser

The In-Store Merchandiser is responsible for providing client and customer In-Store sales support and training in the assigned territory.

Job Duty

· Manage client and customer support in assigned territory by conducting store visits

· Conduct store training in assigned market area

· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Sales Operations personnel

· Prepare reports and provide feedback to management as needed

· Other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned

- This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

(Preferred): Associate’s Degree Or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience:

0-2 Years of experience in Merchandising

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge:

· Strong client/customer relationship knowledge

· Knowledge of foodservice industry

· Company policies and procedures

Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of SharePoint

· Ability to effectively communicate over the phone and through email

· Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills

· Ability to build effective working relationships

· Creative problem solving and project management skills

· Excellent critical thinking and analytical ability

· Unquestionable work ethics, personal integrity and honesty

· Travel as appropriate

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Field / Reps Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
