Job Title: Education Senior Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL (and client sites nationwide)
Purpose and Objective:
Hybris U.S. Corporation seeks an Education Senior Consultant at our Chicago, IL location and client sites nationwide responsible for training development of products relevant for Education Delivery.
Expectations and Tasks:
As course owner, maintain global responsibility and support of trainings. Work on and develop new topics for future delivery. Responsible for course development and adaptation to specific customer needs. Install and maintain training systems. Provide quality assurance with respect to material, system and other instructors. Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Act as content moderator for SAP Education social networking and trusted advisor with respect to Education. Provide professional support for Education Sales including clarification of topics. Support internal and external Roll-out activities such as Ramp Up Knowledge Transfer. Perform training needs analysis and lead generation for Education Sales. Communicate with customers far beyond the class, and provide support in topic clarification and responsible for de-escalation in critical situations. Supports instructors (SAP and external). Provide training in various situations including international, Virtual Learning Classroom, and Recorded Classroom Training. 40% travel required to client sites nationwide. telecommuting permitted
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering , Business Administration, or a related field and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience. Will accept 1 year additional work experience for each year not completed towards the Bachelor’s degree. Will accept pre-bachelor degree experience.
1 year of experience must include the following: Software Development; Java; Spring Framework; Commerce Software Development; delivering software development training. Experience must also include researching, creating and presenting technical training content; and Data technologies, including ORM, SQL, XML, and JSON. 40% travel required to client sites nationwide. telecommuting permitted
