Job Description



+ Maintenance of personnel and/or training records

+ Provide assistance with job postings and maintaining applicant tracking records

+ Presentations

+ Administration and coordination of new employee orientation programs

+ Responses to employee inquiries and questions

+ Special projects as identified by the HR Director


+ Must be at least 21 years of age

+ Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future

+ Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four year college or university at the time of the internship

+ Must have junior or senior class standing

+ Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8

+ Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point


+ Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources

+ Previous internship, co-op or work experience in a related field is preferred

+ Demonstrated leadership by involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community.

Timberline Knolls will follow the standards of U.S. Department of Labor – Fair Labor Standards Act’s and the standards established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)

+ The internship, even though it includes actual operation of the facilities of Timberline Knolls, is similar to training which would be given in an educational environment;

+ The internship experience is for the benefit of the intern;

+ The intern will not displace regular employees, but works under close supervision of existing staff;

+ Timberline Knolls training derives no immediate advantage from the activities of the intern; and on occasion its operations may actually be impeded;

+ The intern is not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship; and

+ The employer and the intern understand that the intern is not entitled to wages for the time spent in the internship.
