Senior Office Technician reports to the Project Managers and performs at a high level of technical expertise to support projects while working with office Staff, field Staff, and managers to process incoming information and produce final project deliverables.

+ Accomplish the daily processing of data utilizing the SAM standards, including the evaluation of accuracy and sufficiency, all while ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry principles with limited supervision of manager;

+ Coordinate with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met;

+ Will typically provide trainings and assistance to several staff on the basis of assignments;

+ Execute assignments and activities of large capacity, duration, and technical complexity;

+ Possesses the autonomy to set priorities and assignments to other staff members;

+ Can serve as a staff mentor for those transitioning into next career role;

+ Ability to use relevant software knowledge to perform necessary tasks;

+ Responsible for the coordination with production teams to meet deliverables for the clients;

+ May correspond directly with clients about production details;

+ Promptly communicate with project specialist and managers when unusual circumstances, special cases, or errors warrant their attention to complete a project;

+ Process data for project deliverables, analyze documentation, and give technical office support;

+ Ensure schedules and productivity objectives set by supervisor are achieved;

+ Present quality control assistance of client-specific deliverables;

+ Monitor field crew’s production and quality assurance;

+ Complete QC checks on-site to verify the quality of work;

+ Support the Company to achieve its vision and mission, while successfully practicing its core values related to employees, ethics, operational excellence, safety, integrity and corporate social responsibility;

+ Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals;

+ Does not hold supervisory responsibilities in this position

+ Minimum of 5 years relevant experience required

+ Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with Illinois DOT CAD Deliverables

+ Strong computer and technical skills required

+ MicroStation experience required

+ Experience with 3D modeling in MicroStation a plus

+ Experience with Utility Coordination a plus

+ Ability to read and interpret plan sets

+ Proficient in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus

+ Ability to multitask with the upmost accuracy

+ Capable of leading trainings and allocating assignments with clear instruction

+ Solid work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a “team-player” attitude

+ Great listening, writing, and verbal communication skills

+ Excellent attention to detail
