Responsible for implementing API solutions and support end-to-end delivery of small projects (up to 1000 hours) as Developer

Maintain compliance to service guideline and implement new service patterns under the guidance of Senior team members

Assist triage-lead on operational support

Specialist in assigned domain and have some knowledge of additional domains

Analyze and correct medium to high complexity issues local to application.

Mentor team members and adhere to technical direction, standards (security & compliance), guidelines and methodology for use in specified technologies in own discipline.

Effective written and verbal communication skills are required to facilitate meetings with both technical and business audiences, often across multiple functional departments within MCS. Able to lead and work with geographically dispersed teams including on and offshore.

Deliver on delegated management level tasks (talent evaluation)

Must have basic understanding of the Agile methodology and the tools used to complete the delivery. Able to work independependently on the tools and process used in the team.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in working APIC/DP including the following:

- Experience creating APIs in API-Connect for Restful services and SOAP services.

- Experience with implementing OAuth security and API Key security for the APIs.

- Experience with the API Management Lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration, CI/CD, Kanban

Cloud development experience

-Experience with gateway script.

-Experience of node like mapping in APIC.

- Datapower experience in creating MPGW/WSP services.

- experience Implementing Crypto profiles, OAUTH, SSL proxy profiles as part of SSL implementation

- experience working on XSLT programming and used XML Transformation node to transform an XML message to another form of XML message.

Implement and publish Loopback API, SOAP API, REST API, OAuth etc.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred)
