Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle’s opportunities across all products and product lines.
Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. 5 or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.

Regional Sales Manager
We are currently looking for a high-energy, driven Regional Sales Manager with solid technology business-to-business sales experience. This role will focus on Oracle DataFox (DataFox) software.
As a Regional Manager, the primary focus is to plan, manage and develop a team of Application Sales Representatives for Oracle s DataFox business unit. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle’s opportunities across the DataFox competitive landscape, selling to our Majors account base, which consists of companies with $500M – $2B in revenue.
Driving sales of Oracle DataFox
Utilizing Oracle s sales process and methodology to manage complex sales processes
Leveraging partners and existing customers in territory to support sales efforts
Manage large complex relationships with our most strategic prospects and customers
Adhering to all Oracle security policies, standards and procedures in the performance of job duties
Meeting sales quota as well as other metrics used to manage the business
Travel will be required
7-10 years of quota carrying software or technology sales experience
Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management and selling to multiple constituents in the same cycle ranging from Business, IT Executives and C-Level program owners
Experience managing complex deal cycles involving multiple players from your firm, the client, and third party consultants and SI s
Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
Prior success selling into the CRM and Marketing Automation landscape
Consistent track record and earnings in past Account Executive roles while carrying a quota
Top 10-20% performer in past positions
Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong references
Strong computer skills, Siebel CRM, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Bachelor or University Degree Preferred
