What you’ll do in this role:
This is NOT your “typical Personal Banker” position! For starters – Your days can vary with new scenery, since you’ll get to work from multiple branches that are stylish, fun, and innovative!
Not only that, but it’s a diverse role! You’ll develop relationships with our customers, become their financial expert, and educate them about products/services that will make a positive impact in their lives. This includes very specialized accounts, which will keep your mind engaged.
There’s a lot to learn and there are sales goals, so this job will challenge you. But you’re hungry for success, so meeting and exceeding goals is motivating to you!
This work includes:
Identifying financial products/services that will benefit our customers, and you’ll guide them toward those that are in their best interest. There are times when you’ll need to overcome objections, but you know that already and are GREAT with service-minded sales!
Processing a wide-array of requests for specialized and/or complex accounts (such as Commercial, Trust, POAs, deceased, and IRAs).
Being a team player who wears multiple “hats”. You’ll also back up our Concierge and our Call Center. You’ll greet customers and direct them to the person who can best help. You’ll also answer calls from customers who need assistance.
What you’ll need to join the team:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent (more education is a plus)
2 years of similar experience (banks/credit unions, other financial institutions, insurance agencies, retail sales, or any other job with sales responsibilities)
Proficient with computer systems/software applications
Excellent interpersonal, communication, cross-selling, and organizational skills, and a genuine approach to helping others is necessary
An openness to challenges (this job will challenge you – but can reward you too)
Flexibility to travel between the branches is required
Flexibility to work between the following hours:
Monday through Thursday: 8am – 5pm; Friday: 8am – 6pm; Regular Saturdays: 8am-1pm
