Job Description

Position Summary 

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for a wide range of duties. The role of Maintenance Associate will often depend entirely upon the requests from the facilities. The position will provide assurance that the banks facilities are kept safe and in good repair. Maintenance activities include keeping spaces, structures and infrastructure in proper operating condition in a routine scheduled or anticipated fashion to prevent failure and or degradation.

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Service and minor repairs to mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and other miscellaneous repairs as assigned
  • Pest control including spraying for pests, removing nests etc. when necessary.
  • Minor maintenance of HVAC systems including but not limited to filter replacement, condenser cleaning and thermostat replacement
  • Clear facility requests received through Building Maintenance email or OTRS ticket system.
  • Maintain assigned lawn and ground watering duties.
  • Salt and shovel sidewalks when assigned
  • Erect facility signage as assigned; gather single stream recycling where assigned.
  • Order and fill soft drink machines where assigned
  • Monitor onsite generator where assigned
  • Purchase necessary supplies for truck inventory
  • Parking lot maintenance including but not limited to pothole repair, striping, curb repair and painting
  • Interior and exterior painting, wall and wallpaper patching
  • Department buildouts
  • Minor roof, window and gutter repairs
  • Work with other trades when necessary

Other Job Requirements

  • Ability to climb minimum 30 extension ladder or equivalent
  • Valid Class D drivers license
  • Basic knowledge of hand and electrical tools including multi meter
  • Ability to lift and reach overhead
  • Travel to other facilities as needed

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills with interest and ability to learn new applications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Degree preferred or equivalent 

  • General knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, Construction and/or facility repairs

Physical Requirements

  • Walking, Standing, Climbing and/or balancing
  • Reaching – with arms and hands
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
  • Talking, Hearing. Feeling/Touching
  • Vision – close, peripheral, depth, ability to adjust focus
