Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop computational tools as directed by Principle Investigator (PI).
• Performs in-depth data analysis as directed by PI
• Independently performs literature review and draft research manuscripts
• Assists in research grant proposal preparation


• Strong skills in R and Python
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established procedures
• Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written English
• Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to work as an effective team member
• Ability to organize workflow
• Ability to clearly document experimental procedures and results

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Job Summary:

Develop computational tools and perform data analysis on various high-throughput omics data.

Minimum Education: MS degree in Statistics and Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics or related area

Required: At least three first-author publications in the area of bioinformatics

Preferred: Research experience in microbiome data analysis.
