Are you a tenured leader of Solutions Architects with a deep focus on Enterprise Migrations? Would you like to lead a team engaging with senior technical and business leaders of enterprises to help them achieve increased agility and create significant business value by migrating to AWS? Can you work equally well with executives and technologists, leading high-visibility, high-impact IT transformation projects that are technically broad and deep? Do you understand the challenges of cloud migration projects? Do you have experience leading technical strategy and enterprise architecture across diverse global teams driving change and business value at significant scale?
At AWS, we’re hiring deeply experienced technical executives to lead field solutions architect teams that collaborate with our customers on accelerating their cloud migration journey. The Sr Manager, Americas Migration Specialist Solution Architecture role requires executive-level leadership experience as well as deep foundational expertise with large-scale Enterprise migration to the cloud. You’ll have background as a solution architect, and be passionate about enabling highly technical, senior-level field architects grow their careers ways they hadn’t thought possible. You’ll be adept at working cross-functionally to set and achieve complex goals with adjacent organizations including Business Development, Sales, Engineering, Professional Services and Marketing. And you’ll have significant experience scaling high-performing, in-demand technical resources.
- 7+ years designing and deploying mission-critical solutions in distributed Linux-based enterprise environments
- 5+ years leading senior technical staff in demanding customer contexts
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar fieldAdvertisement
