Duties and Responsibilities

Oncology laboratory research under the direction of Dr. Weihang Valerie Chai. The
successful candidate will be expected to conduct original research using mice as an
animal model to study the mechanism underlying genome instability. The successful
candidate will be expected to publish research results in peer reviewed journals and present at national meetings.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell or molecular biology, or other discipline related to the
molecular biosciences; demonstrated expertise in using mouse models to study cancer initiation and progression; record indicating outstanding abilities and potential in research; and a publication record consistent with background; strong communication skills, both orally and written.
