Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

Oracle Supply Chain Solution Engineer
Oracle s Best-in-Class Order Management (OM) Solutions provide end-to-end Cloud solutions from order quoting and capture to fulfillment and billing. We are looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to provide deep OM business acumen and knowledge to our customers across our front and back office applications, with products spanning CRM, CPQ, SCM, and ERP. The ideal candidate would have robust practical knowledge around the order management lifecycle, with an emphasis on the subscription economy and its relative business processes and related IT solutions.

Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations
Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle s Order and Subscription Management solutions to customer s business challenges
Support the sales team by providing guidance on solution design and recommended products
Aid customer s understanding of Oracle s solutions through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle
Industry thought leadership in the order management marketplace
Additional Job Requirements:
BA/BS from top tier college/university in relevant field supply chain, information systems, business, accounting or equivalent years of experience
10 years Supply Chain experience is preferred
Strong industry experience (Computer Software, IT and Services, Direct-To-Consumer, etc.) preferred
Experience with quote to cash processes and supporting SaaS or related Cloud technologies and a thorough understanding of subscription / recurring billing and respective challenges is highly desired.
Knowledge of rebate management and/or incentive compensation is a plus
Previous Oracle Cloud Application and/or Oracle’s E-Business Suite experience a plus
Intelligent, motivated, and competitive with a roll-up-the-sleeves and get the job done attitude
Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Previous Oracle Cloud Application experience a plus
