Duties and Responsibilities
A lab manager position is available in Dr. Zang’s lab at the Burn and Shock Trauma Research Institute in the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. The research area of the laboratory is focused on mitochondrial signaling in cardiac dysfunction and cardiac autophagy in sepsis using both in vitro and in vivo models. The prospective candidate will have opportunities to work within a highly interactive, multidiscipline team to do translational research.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Master’s degree with a major in biology or biomedical sciences and at least three years of laboratory experience; or a bachelor’s degree with a major in biology or biomedical sciences and at least four years of laboratory experience.
Must be highly proficient in all office programs, including but not limited to word, excel, power point…
Required operation of university owned vehicles
