The End Point Technician is responsible for delivering an excellent computing experience for a dynamic, global, high impact community, by performing installation and troubleshooting of personal computer hardware and software within a LAN/WAN environment, as well as maintaining and improving the End User experience. Activities include daily administration, set-up, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

+ Exercise strong customer service skills to build business relationships with end users.
+ Demonstrate high standards for End User Support Services while resolving customer issues with effective problem-solving skills.
+ Escalates high impact or VIP technology issues.
+ Provide onsite and offsite end user support across multiple levels within the organization, including executive leadership.
+ Anticipate user needs through experience and knowledge of best practices, implementing a consistent roadmap for End User Computing that encompass People, Process, and Technology.
+ Timely installation and repair of computer system hardware, operating systems, software and peripherals, and configuration of VOIP telephones.
+ Manages assigned service requests in Service Now
+ Maintain inventory accuracy of computer hardware.
+ Tests new software and hardware for compatibility.
+ Provide training on Mac and PC use, connecting to corporate network, and peripheral usage.
+ Ability to relate and communicate Mac Solutions to our Colleagues with day to day interactions
+ Offer advice on accompanying accessories that will further improve the customer’s experience within our MAC environment, while independently keeping your own technical know-how up to date
+ Extensive level of troubleshooting macOS, KeyChain and Time Machine Backup
+ Familiarity with Remote system LogMeIn rescue and Terminal (Mac)
+ Experience supporting mobile devices (Window Mobile, Android, Apple iOS).
+ Works closely across IT teams to ensure effective communication and project escalation while participating as a technical resource needed in both large and small projects.
+ Completes other duties as assigned.
+ BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field, or equivalent industry experience/certifications.
+ Minimum 3 years enterprise (2500+ clients) experience with Microsoft Windows Clients /macOS in a Windows Active Directory environment.
+ Strong customer service and excellent communication skills along with the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
+ Knowledge of networking including DHCP, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP.
+ Knowledge of hardware component repair (Laptop).
+ Knowledge of the major client software packages (MS Office 2016, McAfee, Oracle, IBM Client Access, FTP, Adobe etc.).
+ Experience using SCCM (MDT/OSD) for imaging PCs.
+ Experience in supporting offsite end users via remote support tools
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange mailbox management.
+ Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
+ Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve problems.
+ Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment with short timelines.
+ Ability to maintain high quality of work while supporting multiple critical projects.
+ Experience with Service Now preferred
