Minimum of three years of previous accounting, and/or financial experience preferred.

Microsoft Dynamic 365 experience preferred

Responsibilities
1.Performs a variety of accounting functions which includes: supporting financial due diligence and financial integration of acquired companies.

2.Throughout the due diligence process; work in a support in analyzing target companys financial statements, trial balance, and other supporting documents to evaluate compliance with GAAP, risk analysis and aggressive or inconsistent accounting practices.

3.Work closely with external auditors throughout the Quality of Earnings (QOE) process in gathering & analyzing data provided by target company. Lead initial review of QOE report; validating key findings and assess areas of risk identified.

4.Work with HR and other internal teams identified to assess both positive and negative cost implications the acquired company may cause to roll forward EBITDA post-close.

5.Lead post close activities related to beginning balance sheet, GL mapping to final trial balance. Lead final submission of closing package documents including balance sheet, Pro Forma plan, Annual Plan & other non-financial data required.

6.Educate and support sellers on Convergints accounting practices and month end closing requirements. Work with CDC/CTC leadership in resolving financial related transactional issues.

Develop processes and act as intermediary through the transitional period (4-12 weeks) of migration from sellers ERP system to Spectrum

7.Support the transitional activities related to the migration of the target companys financial system to Spectrum.

8.Resolve spectrum / accounting / finance questions by researching and interpreting data and financial system. Conducts spectrum training and presentations within and outside the department.

9.Maintains controls of accounting functions, by performing regular verifications and internal audit functions.

10.Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Skills
Excellent knowledge of financial information analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and other financial reporting software

Exceptional understanding of financial statement, the general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.

Outstanding planning and organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Up to 20-40% out of town travel.

Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize

Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
