Job Description

The Night Site Educator is responsible for support and supervision of assigned clients in the Transitional Living Program. The Night Site Educator is available throughout the night hours to assist our clients in activities of daily living, provide them with emotional, vocational, and educational support and guidance, and to insure a nurturing and safe environment. This position would require staying awake and alert throughout 10 or 12 hour overnight shift.

A High School Diploma is required with some Human Service experience preferred. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, be self-disciplined, able to prioritize multiple demands in a timely manner, well organized and detail oriented, have a highly developed understanding of confidentiality, and the desire and ability to work cooperatively with other members of the treatment team. Prospective employees must be at least 25 years old, possess a valid Illinois driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. Prospective employees are required to submit to a pre-employment physical and background check.
