Job Description

We just received a new position for a Payroll Specialist for a 3 -4 Month Contract in Lake Forest. Interested? Please send me a resume to ANGP465@kellyservices.com

+ This position is 100% remote until the end of the year. Beginning of next year, management will reassess if they will return to the office

PAY :

+ Looking to be in the $25/hr to $28/hr range. Will go up to $31/hr. depending on experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

+ Looking to have someone 3 – 4 month, ideally to the end of January 2021 – there may be possibility of extension based on business needs, projects

+ ADP Workforce Now experience / knowledge REQUIRED (recent experience)

+ Must know how to run a payroll – auditing/reconciliation, resolving issues

+ Knowledge, experience in running Payroll related reports from ADP

+ Will help with Affirmative Action reporting/filing, prepping, etc., of W2s

+ Will help monitor and respond to the Payroll Mailbox (email inbox)

+ Strong communication skills, collaborative; able to partner with peers, management, senior leadership

+ Quick learner, able to train/ramp up quickly on the company way/processes

+ There may be some opportunity to assist with Benefits, so if the candidate has any Benefits experience, that is a plus but not required. Our main focus is Payroll

SOFT SKILLS:

+ Collaborative

+ Strong critical thinking

+ Must be able to also work independently; not wait for direction, etc., be comfortable asking questions, researching next steps of a process, etc.

+ Strong communications skills to partner with all colleagues at all levels – peers, direct management, senior leadership; professional

+ Sense of urgency, responsive nature – will probably help monitor the Payroll Mailbox (email Inbox)

+ Employee-centric philosophy regarding Payroll – it Is not just a “process”, does not just deflect by saying “call ADP

+ Must not be afraid of ambiguity, and frequently changing priorities
