Landscaper/Groundskeeper. Work is principally at sites in the Madison County/St. Clair County. Other work sites will be in Monroe County and other Illinois counties in St. Louis, MO-IL Metropolitan Statistical Area. Minimum work in St. Louis city/county (Anticipated less than 10%). Workers will report each day to 91 Kimberly Court, Collinsville, IL 62234. The company will provide daily transportation to and from worksites within St. Louis, MO-IL Metropolitan Statistical Area. Work is for temporary Full-time employment 1/14/2021 to 10/14/2021 8:30am to 4:30pm Mon. through Fri., no overtime. Up to 14 temporary full-time positions to be filled. Hourly wage of at least $15.37 using a single workweek as standard to compute wages, wages to be paid, paid no less frequently than every 2 weeks, all deductions required by law to be made from gross wages by employer. Workers guaranteed minimum work of three-fourths of all work days contained in each 12 week period of employment contemplated in this work order. Employer will make reimbursement to workers who complete at least 50 percent of work term certified as indicated below for subsistence and travel from home to place of employment if relocating from outside Madison or St. Clair Counties in Illinois and outside the St. Louis Metropolitan SMA and will pay for return home transportation and subsistence costs if the worker completes work for the entire term of certified employment or is dismissed from employment early. Travel reimbursement to be the lowest cost bus fare (overnight lodging if required) between the Employer’s place of business in Madison County Illinois and worker’s home. Subsistence reimbursement to be by cash stipend limited to a minimum of $12.68 per day and a maximum amount verified by receipts of $55.00 per day of travel. Limited number of Group Home rooms maybe available for rent (from separate entity than Employer) on first come, first serve basis. No deductions will be made by employer from paycheck of any worker that chooses to live in Group Home. Market rent is paid separate from paycheck. Workers are free to choose whatever housing they want. Employer will also reimburse the worker for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other H-2B related processing fees (excluding worker passport fees) incurred by worker within the first week of work. Job Duties: Landscape and maintain grounds of property using hand and/or power tools or equipment. Workers will perform a variety of tasks, which include sod laying, planting, mowing, trimming, watering fertilizing, digging, raking, and maintenance of various landscape structures and designs. Requirements: No minimum education/experience required. Able bodied to use commercial mowers, leaf blowers, chain saws, smaller tractors, electric clippers, sod cutters and pruning saws and other landscaping mechanical equipment. No training provided, good hand/eye coordination; able to lift weight as required to carry and use landscaping equipment and material; must be able to tolerate temperature extremes consistent with working outside in a wide variety of weather conditions throughout the year in Southwestern Illinois (90+ deg F to under 32 deg F); All tools and supplies and equipment required to complete job duties to be provided by Employer without charge or deposit.
