Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the Digital Transformation strategic advisory arm of SAP’s Service & Support organization. We assist clients in achieving their Digital Transformation vision and Best-Run Business capability from their SAP and other IT investments. Our team draws on insights and experience from thousands of SAP customer implementations. BTS works with customers at the program level and more broadly at the enterprise level to mobilize, deliver, and measure strategic business outcomes. Our vision is to drive business value and successful outcomes by helping our customers understand how best to leverage, implement and optimize SAP solutions for the industries in which they operate.
The Change Management Specialist will focus on the people and value side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, organization structures and value management. Primary responsibilities include creating and implementing change management strategies and plans as well as creating business cases. The Change Management Specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
The Change Management Specialist will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of sponsor. They may also provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Management Specialist will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans as well as define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
Other key competencies of this role include the ability to:
+ Apply a structured methodology and lead Value Management activities including:
+ The design and development of business cases that identify and prioritize investments that have the highest business impact
+ Establish performance benchmarks
+ Support and engage executives through the value management process
+ Lead and coordinate value realization activities such as business process improvements, KPI measurements and communication of progress in project design
+ Build organizational models that support value management capabilities
+ Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities including:
+ Create change management strategies
+ Create actionable deliverables based on OCM methodology
+ Lead and coordinate communication efforts
+ Support and engage senior leaders, coach managers and supervisors
+ Consult and coach project teams, coordinate efforts with other specialists
+ Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
+ Experience and knowledge of value management/business case principles, methodologies and tools
+ Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
+ Problem solving and root cause identification skills
+ Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
+ Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
+ Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
+ Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
+ Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
+ Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives
+ 5 years of SAP experience 5 years consulting experience
+ 10 years of enterprise architecture (business & IT) experience
+ Change management certification or designation desired
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Master’s Degree
+ Change Management certification (CCMP, Prosci ADKAR® or equivalent)
+ Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
+ Project management certification (PMP)
Location: Anywhere in US or Canada
Travel: 50-60% expected
