Senior Financial Analyst position responsible for providing financial planning and analysis to assist with development and execution of the Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain financial plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close reporting process. Support Balance Sheet and Cash flow planning improvement efforts. Consolidation and reporting of global ANSC Margin Improvement initiatives.

Position will be expected to identify risks/opportunities, propose recommendations/solutions to issues while completing a wide range of analytics and deliverables and assess reasonableness/relevance of financial assumptions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

+ Provide financial support for Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain HQ Organization.

+ Assist with consolidation and high-level financial review of AN global manufacturing plants and supply operations for annual plan and quarterly rolling LBE/confirmation submissions.

+ Provide timely identification and communication of any anomalies, omissions or unexpected trends to ANSC Global Controller.

+ Lead the Gross Margin Improvement (GMI) reporting efforts.

+ Assist with the monthly reporting and quarterly planning of Abbott Nutrition Cash Flow & balance sheet initiatives, including detailed analysis of Inventory, Accounts Payable/DPO, and other key balance sheet and cash flow drivers.

+ Assist with ad-hoc analysis and backup schedules to support finance and commercial management in decision-making process, DCF/ROI computations or other projects/analyses when requested. Deliver quality results within established deadlines.

+ Develop strong working relationships with Plant Controllers, Logistics and Purchasing Manager and other members of the AN’s global supply chain.

+ Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, as is the desire to engage in understanding the activities of the entire Supply Chain group (purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, QA, etc.).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING

Required

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance

+ 3-5+ years of relevant finance experience with strong analytical, time management and people skills.

Preferred

+ Requires effective communication skills with all levels of management, inside and outside of finance.

+ Individual must be a self-starter who works independently as well as within a team.

+ Strategic and innovative thinker than will challenge the status quo and drive process improvements.

+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (mainly Excel and Power Point)

+ Proficiency in HFM/CCI, SAP and Host Analytics is a plus.
