Your Role and Responsibilities

The statistician/senior statistician role will focus on supporting our Health Economics, Outcomes Research and Epidemiology team. As part of a broader team you will contribute to study design, data analysis, interpretation and communication of results using real-world data in the support of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device customers. At the senior level the role will include mentoring of junior team members, supporting proposal development, presentation to clients and generation of thought leadership materials.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4+ years prior relevant experience working as a statistician in consulting firm or pharmaceutical/biotech company

• Strong programming skills in SAS, Python and R and good command of Bayesian analysis package(s)

• Experience with Bayesian statistics, generalized linear models, and survival analysis

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• MSc or PhD or equivalent in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, (applied) mathematics, (applied) economics or related discipline

• Experience in supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
