O’Donovan Landscaping (Plainfield, IL) has 6 F/T Temp. Landscape Laborer (04/01/2021-09/30/2021), 40 hours/wk, 7:30am -3:30pm (Mon-Fri), $16.34/hour (O/T $24.51) paid weekly on Friday. A single work week will be used to compute wages due. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation at the company’s sole discretion based on worker’s performance, skills and motivation. Only deductions from a worker’s paycheck are required by law will be made. H-2B application to be concurrently filed with USDOL. Water plants and lawns, clean flower beds using rakes, clippers, weed cutters and hoses, maintenance mowing, sod distribution and duties related to basic landscape installation. Must carry/lift 50lbs., when necessary. No education or experience required. Tools, equipment, etc. required for job provided at no cost. Employer will pay for drug test required of foreign and domestic workers prior to start date of hire/work start date. Daily transportation to/from each worksite provided by Employer at no charge. Employer start site: 2884 State Route 126, Plainfield, IL. 60544, Kendall County. Travel to ODL office and various worksites located in Kendall, Kane, Will, Dupage Counties will be in company vehicles. Employer will assist in securing housing but will not provide housing. If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract as stated in the contract period, worker shall be reimbursed for any transportation and subsistence from place of recruitment to place of work. Employer will provide and or pay worker for reasonable costs for return transportation/return to original place of origin should the original contracted time frame is completed, or, if the worker is dismissed earlier by ODL. No cost to workers who leave, or return to work for any other employer within the original contracted time of employment. Payment of transportation or any reimbursement will be equal to the most cost efficient travel provider for travel distances as needed. Subsistence per day rate is $12.68 and the maximum amount per day with receipts, shall be the rate of $55.00. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all expenses, such as visa processing, border crossing, and related costs to include mandatory government fees, (Passport fees not included). For certified periods of employment (120 days plus) employer guarantees work that equals to 3/4 of workdays, for each 12 time frame of total emp. paid.
