Job Description

Job Summary:
Olympia Fields is considered one of the premier clubs in the Chicagoland area, and in the world. Working at OFCC allows you to gain knowledge, develop skills, and work with a professional team. We are looking for a motivated seasonal part-time bartenders, assignment will end depending on business needs. Bartenders prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in designated locations throughout the club as needed.

Reports to: Assistant Restaurant Managers

Essential Functions:
Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
Serve wine and draft or bottled beer
Arrange bottles and glasses to make an attractive display
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
Order or requisition liquors and supplies
Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
Perform inventory of bar stocks
Serve food to members when necessary

Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of bartending experience required
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to take food and beverage orders accurately and operate point-of-sale system
Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be a team player, flexible, able to work under pressure
Exhibit self-motivation, accountability and great problem-solving skills
Must be the legal age to pour alcohol (21) along with the BASSET certification required
Must be be Basset and Food Handler certified or acquire certification within 7 days of employment
