Lead implementation of world-wide quality standards to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and drive customer satisfaction; manage and serve as the primary oversight for all Quality related aspects of product compliance and defects. This includes, but is not limited to, external communications with international regulatory agencies, internal tracking and verification of related commitments and corrective action), coordination with other internal operations (e.g. Regulatory Compliance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, R&D). Work closely with plants and production managers supporting product quality, safety, performance activities, and goals; oversee and prepare for annual audit for ISO 9001 certification; manage the schedule of internal quality audits; address findings and nonconformities from internal and external audits; conduct management review of the quality system; manage preventive and corrective action requests; ensure global organizational systems and training are current and updated as needed; manage the appropriate global quality documentation and design controls, create and oversee standard calibration and testing program; manage customer complaints and claim reporting; and approve the control plans for all international plants production areas.
