Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Group Manager for its Elk Grove Village, Illinois location.
Duties: Lead risk financial forecasting efforts, including designing and maintaining complex credit loss and financial risk forecasting models, conducting cost of credit analyses, and monitoring product trends to identify key areas of risk-opportunity. Additionally, monitor key trends and variance against the strategic plan and explain the loss drivers to senior management. Manage risk levels for the entire credit/valuation spectrum across multiple products and retail formats consistent with program financial goals. Develop recession readiness playbook for internal guidance and external regulatory reporting, as what actions would be taken by the business in a situation of potential Recession. Develop, test, optimize and implement credit/valuation policies. Develop risk segmentation using CHAID (Chi-Square Automatic Interaction and Detection) with internal and bureau variables, to find pockets of high, medium and low risk with appropriate action recommendation to build resilient receivables. Track and report on initiatives, performance results, emerging trends and opportunities to senior management. Establish cross-functional partnerships and networks in order to execute the cross-functional and business initiatives. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Economics, Statistics or closely related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a AVP, VP, SVP, Trust Manager, Credit Portfolio Group Manager/Officer/Senior Manager/Analyst or closely related position analyzing risk and forecasting loss for a global financial services firm. Must have 3 years of experience with: Loss Forecasting Techniques – Roll Rate, Acquisitions vintage; Risk Segmentation using CHAID (Chi-Square Automatic Interaction And Detection); Credit Card Industry Knowledge; and SAS, Regression, Basel, Capital analysis. Must have 1 year of experience with: Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR).
