The Sourcing Purchasing Coordinator creates and drives purchasing process including pricing and quote requests, preparation of purchase order documents and following up with purchase order confirmations with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Works closely with Area Sourcing team members and escalates potential needs for additional suppliers to Sourcing.
As Sourcing Purchasing Coordinator, your main responsibilities will be:
+ Generate purchase orders for products and commodities assigned to support on-time and complete shipments.
+ Retrieve and process purchase requisitions ensuring compliance with preferred/approved suppliers, correct material and supplier master data.
+ Assist Frontlines to find correct suppliers and clarify item prices and conditions utilizing framework agreements established by Sourcing.
+ Manage order confirmation deviations, clarifying and updating POs accordingly.
+ Investigate and handles Supply Line order exceptions.
+ Tracks supplier scheduling and maintains follow up to meet scheduled lead-times.
+ Works with suppliers, following up on continuous overdue goods receipt postings.
+ Clarifies invoice matching deviations for purchase order related invoices, working closely with Accounts Payable and Sourcing.
+ Handles day-to-day supplier issues in collaboration with Team Lead and Sourcing.
+ Manage Onetime purchase order & Supplier Master data in SAP, collaborating with Sourcing Category Manager(s) to control suppliers added to supply base.
+ Ensures compliance and adherence to KONE policies and procedures, including and notably the PO policy. Ensures compliance with Quality teams as assigned.
The desired candidate will have:
+ BA degree in Business / Supply Chain preferred, or equivalent experience.
+ Supplier relationship management skills.
+ SAP software experience preferred.
+ Good organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work with and maintain confidential material.
+ Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively work with KONE department, branch, and division personnel.
+ Experience in Office 360 software.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
+ Ability to write and interpret reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal managers, employees, service and material suppliers, and general public.
+ Intermediate to advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
+ Proven track record of identifying challenges and creating and implementing creative solutions.
