Description

+ Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).

+ Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals.

+ May serve as a co-lead for groups.

+ Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention.

+ Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner.

+ Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

Education

+ Bachelors or better in Psychology
