The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for development and improvement of the Digital Manufacturing systems and products, including manufacturing processes, back-end systems, supplier development, and cost improvement. Lead the Digital Manufacturing Front and Back end operations. Responsible for managing the processes that fit the market needs. Own the business cost improvement initiatives with continuous improvement of responsible product lines.
+ Support Back-End system Feature-Based Automation CAM development
+ Review market and business analyses of Digital Manufacturing drawing requirements to develop new product and capability needs
+ Manage project progress and develop countermeasures to resolve issues with new front- or back-end processes to prevent reoccurrence, improve efficiency, and enable growth
+ Efficiently manage development projects collaboratively across multiple departments in accordance with ISO standards and stage-gate process to ensure products are completed on-time and meet all quality standards .
+ Implement strategic initiatives quickly and effectively, create project timelines, goals, and countermeasures, track and report KPI’s
+ Expand Digital Manufacturing capabilities to increase product offerings, revenue, and market share in new growth sectors
+ As the manufacturing and system capabilities leader, provide technical expertise to support to internal teams’ needs.
+ Promote and educate internal customers such as engineers, product managers, and sales team on Digital Manufacturing Capabilities
+ Support market pricing analysis and develop alternate manufacturing methods to further reduce costs and improve profit margins
+ Manage costs to increase profitability of Digital Manufacturing products
+ Prepare and present project progress reports, group KPIs, and activities
+ BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
+ 7+ years of relevant experience as Design/Manufacturing Engineer, or Product Manager with some on-the-floor Manufacturing Experience
+ Expert knowledge of 3D CAD/CAM (Siemens NX preferred)
+ Experience with Factory Automation Components
+ Deep knowledge of machined component design and manufacturing
+ Experience leading multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
+ Strategic, analytical, self-motivated, driven and results oriented
+ High organizational and leadership skills to execute, evaluate, and adjust tactics quickly, lead team members, and coordinate other departments
+ Experience working in an international environment preferred
