Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Chicago, Illinois and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging on-premise, web, and/or cloud-based platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage teams that perform data management, such as master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling while utilizing technologies. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Leading and managing complex engagements with relevant data management consulting in master data, metadata, data architecture, data conversion, data governance, and data quality in the Financial services industry within consumer banking, wholesale banking and credit risk portfolios; and Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
• 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Systems Management, any STEM degree, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative the employer is willing to accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Must have three (3) years of experience involving each of the following:
• Managing teams that work to provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools including R, Python, SQL, Weka, Tableau, MS Power BI, Looker, and Splunk and consolidating the inferences to produce analysis and algorithms as recommendations to senior management and executives;
• Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers, managing aspects of the proposal development process, and managing the development of proposal pricing strategies;
• Participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for software applications, including requirement gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects, change requests, escalations and resolutions of urgent issues, utilizing tools including Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, SharePoint, and HP Application Life Cycle Management (ALM);
• Improving internal processes and promoting knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence;
• Formulating and creating functional and non-functional specification documentation for product development and roadmaps, business process reengineering, business modeling, analytical and business rules definition, data architecture, and user interface and experience by utilizing Microsoft Visio, CA Erwin Data Modeler, JIRA, and KANBAN among other tools; and
• Overseeing the development of master data architecture to support master data management, quality, and governance capabilities using Oracle Enterprise technologies, SAP ERP tools and Talend.
