Develop System Requirements, Failure Mode Analysis and validate new concepts for different vehicle electronic controls (including Engine controls, Transfer Case controls); apply understanding of Advanced Control Systems, Embedded Software, Electronics (Sensors and Actuators); Develop control algorithms using Model-based Controls Development process; Provide functional simulation of developed models using data-replay or plant based closed-loop simulation techniques; Provide functional validation of control system functions and on HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) equipment; coordinate complex controls development activities; Develop System Requirements for Automotive Control with focus on System Engineering using Controls Design and SysML (System Modeling Language); Apply (FMEA) Failure Mode Effects Analysis for Control Systems; Model, simulate and analyze multidomain dynamical systems using Matlab, Simulink, Closed-Loop Simulation, Autogenerated code development, Controls design, Hardware-in-the Loop functional testing and data analysis; Utilize background in aerospace engineering to develop controls and software for automotive Engines and Electronics.
