Flagger Adjunct Instructor
National Safety Council is looking for Part-time Flagger Instructors for our Onsite Registry. Work with great companies in or near your home town!

As a Flagger Instructor you’ll teach work zone crews standard flagging procedures and how to provide safe passage in and around work areas.
Controlling traffic through work areas is one of the most important, and dangerous operation in construction maintenance. The National Safety Council’s Flagger Training Course is a comprehensive skill-building session that meets federal industry guidelines and provides workers with the skills necessary to work safely.
The primary objectives of the program are to train flaggers to provide safe passage of traffic through and around work areas and to minimize confusion by bringing standard flagging procedures to our nation’s highways.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Instructors should have at least one year of experience in classroom training and public speaking.
- Prior work zone (on-the-job) experience.
- Must be able and willing to complete NSC required training.
- Some travel required.
- Some hands-on outdoor teaching required.
- Basic proficiency in PowerPoint required.
- Spanish Speaking desired, but not required.
