Job Summary:
Partners with clients to design, develop, implement and maintain business solutions regarding data management and analysis. This includes database administration, data consolidation, data analysis and management reporting. Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations. Collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, and IT to achieve business results.
The Statistical Analyst will be responsible for providing data management and statistical support to internal and external investigators who are conducting clinical trial and epidemiologic studies in the Center for Applied Health Research on Aging (CAHRA) within the Division of General Internal Medicine. In collaboration with senior biostatistical faculty and staff, the candidate should be able to engage with faculty and staff on research projects and, with supervision, determine appropriate statistical methods, carry out data analyses, explain methods used, interpret the results, and assist with writing statistical methods and results sections for peer reviewed manuscripts and presentations.
