Job Summary:
Leads data management and analysis team involved in querying, extracting, managing and analyzing multiple, complex datasets ensuring data integrity, quality, and timeliness of results. Oversees the deployment of reporting and analytical solutions. Serves on related committees and task forces.
The Senior Statistical Analyst will be responsible for providing data management and statistical support to internal and external investigators who are conducting clinical trial and epidemiologic studies in the Center for Applied Health Research on Aging (CAHRA) within the Division of General Internal Medicine. In collaboration with senior biostatistical faculty, the candidate should be able to engage with faculty and staff on research projects and determine appropriate statistical methods, independently carry out data analyses, explain methods used, interpret the results, as well as write statistical methods and results sections for peer reviewed manuscripts and presentations. Specific Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Manages and plans for data/analysis requests and projects.
- Provides consultation to customers on appropriate data management, methodological issues and statistical analyses.
- Collaborates with technical staff explaining needs of functional users.
