Farnsworth Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Entry Level in our Peoria, IL office. In this role, you will with the electrical engineering team to serve local and nationwide clients in the support of multiple design and construction projects relative to healthcare, commercial, industrial and educational facilities.

Job Activities:

+ Design of lighting and lighting controls, power distribution systems for buildings, and a working knowledge of the integration of fire alarm, voice/data, and other low voltage systems into buildings.

Specific Requirements include:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering

+ Licenses/Registrations: EIT / FE preferred.

+ Prefer 0-2 years of Building Electrical and Lighting Design experience

+ Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously

+ Provide direction to Designers and CAD Technicians

+ Strong verbal and writing skills

+ Background with Microsoft® Office, AutoCAD and REVIT

+ Appetite for learning and personal development
