Job Opening – Food Processor Job closing date: September 10, 2022 Position type: paid position Number of openings: 30 Job condition: Foreign labor certification H2B non-agriculture Job locations: Chicago, IL (60623) Job description: Job duties: Record production and test data for each food product batch, such as the ingredients used, temperature, test results, and time cycle; Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, clarity, bouquet, or color; Set up, operate, and tend equipment that cooks, mixes, blends, or processes ingredients in the manufacturing of food products, according to formulas or recipes; Mix or blend ingredients, according to recipes, using a paddle or an agitator, or by controlling vats that heat and mix ingredients; Clean and sterilize vats and factory processing areas. This job order is being placed in connection with an H-2B labor certification filing. Position is temporary and full-time. Dates of need: 10/01/2022-04/30/2023 Days/hours: Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm Office Location: 3050 W. 26th St Chicago, IL 60623 Site locations: 90 Workers at 3050 W. 26th St Chicago, IL 60623. The employer will use a single workweek to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made. The worker’s will be paid on a weekly basis. The employer will provide workers at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visas, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or it’s cost to workers reimbursed. If the worker completes half the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount for daily subsistence will be at least $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
