The Assistant Director contributes to the expansion of educational development opportunities to deepen Northwestern’s Principles of Inclusive Teaching. Oversees the strategic direction, effective implementation, and evaluation of The Graduate Teaching Certificate Program and other campus-wide, interdisciplinary learning communities for future faculty. As the institutional co-lead for CIRTL (The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning) at Northwestern, facilitates connections to cross-institutional knowledge sharing networks that advance educational equity and/or fortify the resilience of BIPOC instructors and social justice practitioners. Supports the work of the Associate Director of Inclusive Learning Communities. Serves as a resource for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, academic units.
