Job Description

TRITEQ, Inc. is seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience creating curtainwall shop drawings and fabrication documents. Candidates should have experience leading a project team or must be ready to take on that responsibility.
The daily responsibility of this position is to lead a team of drafters in assisting our clients with all phases of major projects from Design Assist to Profile Approval to Mock-Ups to Shop Drawings and finally Fabrication Documents. To qualify candidates should have 5 or more years of experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication detailing of unitized curtainwall systems. Experience managing a team of drafters is preferred, but not required. Experience creating shop drawings with Revit or fabrication with Inventor, lisp or script experience, and experience programming with AutoCAD or Excel are very desirable. Candidates for this position are also expected to have great skill in dealing with clients as well as dealing with technical issues involved in creating documents for construction and fabrication.

Specific Duties:
1. Create shop drawings for our clients that comply with architectural drawings, structural drawings, project specifications and contract terms.
2. Coordinate shop drawings with engineering requirements.
3. Prepare embed drawings coordinated with building slabs, walls, or other framing systems.
4. Layouts framing details at typical areas and work with experienced job captains to learn how to detail non-typical areas.
5. Maintain production schedules agreed upon by clients and project managers.
6. Produce assembly drawings, part drawings, bills of materials, and tag drawings as part of fabrication of façade units.
