DevOps Engineer – FedRAMP/DoD

We are looking for someone who is passionate about infrastructure as code, has an interest in cyber security and data protection and wants to join our collaborative team as a DevOps Automation Engineer to help improve the high-quality of our corporate product family. You will report an Engineering Manager within the Corporate Products Team.

Must be a U.S Citizen; and reside on U.S Soil for meeting the AWS GovCloud FedRAMP High Impact Level 4/5 authorized access requirements.
Must be willing and able to obtain a Secret/Top-Secret security clearance.
You will work closely with the development teams to create automated strategies for deployment, self-test and alerting.
You will review product requirements, specifications and technical design documents and provide accurate feedback to ensure that software has all required to deploy automatically.
You will define detailed, comprehensive and well-structured deployments plans which are streamlined for automation
Drawing on your creative nature, you will drive the existing automation frameworks forward to benefit automation across multiple products and may be asked to create new frameworks depending on need.
You have good hands-on Amazon AWS knowledge.
Use your skills in Python or other languages (Java, Go, Rust) when you are coding our deployment framework, along with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and Virtualization
You will propose and create creative solutions to automating software deployment in a performant and scalable fashion
You will use your experience in agile development practices to ensure efficient and high-quality releases.
You will estimate, prioritizing and planning automation activities
You will help development teams to adopt best practices in deployment automation.
We will ask you to help improve our deployment framework procedures to make them more efficient
About You:
You have 3-5 years experience in a Software DevOps role.
Previously exposed to a variety of Operating Systems
Experience of Teamcity, Jenkins, Harness, Spinnaker or similar Automation tools
You have experience in Python programming.
Anything above that gets you an enthusiastic high-five and bonus points for having experience in the computer security industry.
Degree Level Computing Qualification or equivalent.
Build partnerships, parties including Dev and QA teams, Program/Product managers, Technical Writers and other Project Stakeholders.
You have a keen interest/experience improving efficiency in deployment automation.
Experience with Agile Methodologies.
Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes is highly desired.
Experience with Prometheus software and monitoring is highly desired.
Invent, design, build, deliver, and operate solutions that drive standards and efficiency across the ecosystem. They build the infrastructure that allows other software engineers to quickly deploy, run and scale their software. They plan, design, develop, test, and modify software systems or applications for enhancements and new products that are specifically focused on cloud service development. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
