Description:
The position will work closely with medical providers, pharmacies, hospital administrators, software
companies, wholesalers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers to coordinate the organization’s 340B
program as well as a program that assists low income patients who cannot afford prescribed
medication. The position functions in accordance with applicable written procedures, guidelines and
state and federal regulations.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education:
Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Specify Degree(s): Business, Pharmacy, Purchasing
Minimum Experience:
Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience
Details: Require at least 5 years of pharmaceutical purchasing, wholesaler and vendor
experience. Require at least 3 years of 340B program experience including use of various vendor
software programs / portals.
Licensure/Certifications:
Required:
Registered Pharmacy Technician
Preferred:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Other: Completion of 340B University program certificate of achievement.
