Job Description
Allied Reliability is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for 3rd shift. These positions are direct hire with a reputable organization in the South Beloit, IL area.
The Maintenance Technician must be able to troubleshoot all equipment, conduct regular repairs and complete preventative maintenance as required. These are skilled mechanic positions requiring knowledge of equipment maintenance and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial manufacturing environment.
+ Must operate all production equipment and repair all mechanical equipment in assigned area.
+ Understand complex drawings and wiring diagrams and read blueprints.
+ Troubleshoot and repair basic 3 phase electrical components, and control voltage problems.
+ Electronically troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment by means of computer software.
+ Effectively stick or tig weld repairs on equipment.
+ Work independently on maintenance projects which includes new equipment installs and rebuilds.
+ A self-starter and work with no supervision to complete assigned tasks.
+ Fabricate or modify support components of equipment.
+ Other duties assigned by maintenance supervisor.

+ Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
+ Associate’s Degree preferred but not required.
+ At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/maintenance technician.
+ Must have strong attention to detail.
+ Must have solid troubleshooting skills.
+ Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to complete tasks independently.
+ Ability to work with all departments.
+ Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
